Ferry for Holland, Belgium, Germany and Northern Europe Sail straight to Holland with Stena Line and you’ll avoid the long drive through Northern France from the Channel Ports. Stena Line ferry to Hook of Holland for Holland, Belgium, France and EuropeHolland’s main cities are an easy drive from the Hook of Holland; Rotterdam is only 30 minutes away and you can be in Amsterdam in less than 1½ hours. Onward journeys to Germany, Belgium and into Europe are straightforward too.

The Only Way to Travel Having just returned from my second trip via the Dutch Flyer within a month, I can only have praise for this way of travelling to the Netherlands. I choose the overnight crossing because: a) It means the trip starts at Liverpool Street station; b) the cabins are very well appointed; c) the evening meal and breakfast food is excellent. When you consider that for the deal you get the journey to anywhere in the Netherlands, and bed and breakfast and evening meal all-in, it is excellent value for money. I recommend it to anyone who'll listen!

Very comfortable ferry  found the crossing from Hoek van Holland to Harwich to be very civilised, and far more relaxed than the shorter crossing from Dunkerque to Dover. The opportunity to have a good night's sleep was of great help with a long drive from Berlin to Wales.
